Mississauga, ON, February, 29, 2012 – FUJIFILM Canada Inc. is pleased announce the recent installation of an Acuity Advance HS with roll media option, a Kongsberg i-XL24 with conveyer and an Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 at Signage Source, a digital signage company located in Pickering, Ontario.

Rob Press, owner of Signage Source, made this major purchase decision based on an on-going self-audit of their equipment portfolio. He concluded that their existing flatbed printer alone was no longer sufficient to fulfill the increasing demand for indoor jobs. Because indoor applications require higher resolution, printing these jobs would have significantly affected the productivity of their five-year old flatbed printer, which was purchased for mainly outdoor media. "We would have had to considerably slow it down to produce prints that would meet our standards", said Mr. Press.

Searching for a second flatbed printer, Mr. Press, an industry veteran who diligently maintains his technological edge, knew he did not need to look beyond the Acuity series of printers. He said, "1200 dpi output and inline true 'white', were what we needed in order to keep Signage Sources’ commitments to superb product quality. Some clients do not see the difference between Acuity output and graphics made by some other printer, but we make a point of educating our clients on our expertise, signage making and print quality, before we try to sell to them. We are dedicated to excellence, and we want our clients to learn the difference and make an informed decision when buying signage from us."

As for the Kongsberg cutter and Epson printer, he continued to comment, "When hiring new team members, obviously we seek experience, but for us of equal importance is their ability to honour our clients, conduct themselves honestly, and operate according to our core values. We also seek those characteristics in our suppliers. We selected Fujifilm over the other suppliers based on this principle."

Signage Source is a custom signage company servicing creative agencies, marketing firms and high profile retail outlets across Canada.
