Toronto, ON - Fujifilm Canada is proud to help post-secondary institutions continue to develop future talent within the Graphic Arts industry. To support this initiative Fujifilm Canada’s Graphic Systems division has donated a cheque to the Canadian Printing Industry Scholarship Trust Fund. Upon presenting the cheque to Gillian Mothersill, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Communication & Design at Ryerson, Stefan Biasi spoke on why Fujifilm feels providing this aid to future talent is necessary “Fujifilm Canada is committed to the graphics internship program, and believes that the program is the best way to promote the industry to our youth and grow young talent. As the print industry is not well known to those looking at post-secondary options, we hope that by energizing and enlightening our interns as to the exciting opportunities that exist within the industry, that the message will get out, and promote further interest in programs like GCM.”
