"SL280, Nice Camera"

  • Pros: Clear pics, easy to handle, easy to transfer images, light weight, lots of features
  • Cons: Slow shutter, poor focus in low light, battery level not accurate

I bought the camera to do landscapes and it works well for that. The zoom is quite good. Focuses pretty fast in daylight. Nice feature is the macro mode which is great and produces some really decent shots. The battery does last for a day if you're not shooting over 200 pics (hi-res)but if more think about a second battery. Has a problem with certain colour reproduction (pinks, purples)in low light but otherwise very good colours.

"Great camera for the Ametuer photographer"

  • Pros: Ease of use , zoom is wonderful, just what I wanted in a SLR camera and having done some research this camera is top of the line for zoom
  • Cons: none so far, I have to still find out as I use it.

I am still learning this camera, but it is great, so easy to use and zoom is great. I have owned different camers, and am an amature. but this camers tops them all with versatility and ease of use. It has all the features I would want with one exception...it does not have the RAW feature and as I learn more about photography, I would have went in that direction when purchasing a new camera

"very good value"

we bought this camera to use on an alaska cruise because of the price and the zoom lens. It preformed very well a lot better than my old SLR and a lot lighter the responce time is great

"great camera"

I'm not an expert but i love this camera. It might just make me a better photographer. Zoom is fun to use and so easy.

"Finepix SL280"

  • Pros: lightweight, and comfortable
  • Cons: the disc provided doesnt work with my laptop

I bought my Fuji finepix SL280, in April, 2012, and have taken about 10-15 gigabytes worth of pictures thus far, it is a very good camera for the price. I am not a pro photogragher, however I have to admit that this camera serves me extremely well. I love taking pictures of nature, and wildlife, and with the functions that this camera offers, it makes it possible. The 28x zoom, allows me to get up close. I had been using a cell phone camera up until I got my SL280, and the comments that I now get, are awesome, thank you Fuji, for such a versatile camera, for everyday use, and functionability
