The XP150’s GPS feature embeds geo tags that display latitude and longitude or place names for photo and video images. So, you get an an accurate record of where each photo was taken.
When you take a photo, the built-in compass displays the direction the camera is pointing as the picture is taken. In playback mode, the compass indicates the orientation of the camera, helping you pinpoint the exact location where the photo was shot.
On-board GPS displays the distance and direction from your current location to the place where tagged photos were taken. Just follow on-screen guidance to find your way back to that perfect spot.
GPS tags trace your travels on the XP150 camera's LCD screen. When you get back to your PC, you can create a photo-illustrated trip log on Google Map™ using MyFinePix Studio software.*3
GPS tags generated in a log file can be displayed on Google Maps™ to plot your route on a PC running MyFinePix Studio software.
Search for and select photos according to the place names embedded in their GPS tags, making it easy to sort and display photos from specific locations.
