FUJIFILM has been hard at work engineering a solution to the growing demand of short-run, high quality print production. As a result Fujifilm is proud to announce the commercial launch our new digital inkjet press, the J Press 720 at Graph Expo in Chicago this October. With the look and feel of an offset press and the versatility and job handling of a digital device, the J Press 720 features a standard four-up offset sheet size with a paper delivery and exit like that of a traditional offset press. Intended to fill the gap between offset and current digital output technology, the press is particularly suitable for traditional commercial printers looking to improve competitiveness for short-run work and digital printers who are looking to offer a wider range of digital print services.
FUJIFILM will exhibit a number of different products related to Digital, Offset and Newspaper in an effort to help demonstrate many of the growth opportunities that exist for the Graphic Communications Industry.
Highlights at the show include the following:
FUJIFILM has earned an InterTech™ Technology Award from Printing Industries of America for its ZAC Automated Controller Technology found in its FLH-Z Processor. This technology is used as part of our market leading LH-PJ and LH-PL no bake positive thermal plate solutions. Fujifilm received one of six awards all awarded to technologies which have been deemed as truly innovative and expected to have a major impact on the graphic communications industry.
