TOPIC: Camera LCD / EVF screen is too dark or too bright.
Answer:
Under dim lighting conditions, the image on the LCD
or in the EVF will appear very dark. This is
because there is not enough ambient light available
for the camera to produce a brighter image in the
display.
You may try increasing the LCD brightness as per the
instructions in your owner's manual. However, there
is no way to increase the brightness of the LCD or
EVF display beyond what the maximum setting will
allow. The image in the LCD display will not be as
bright as with the naked eye.
Should your camera have an optical viewfinder
instead of an electronic view finder, we recommend
using the optical viewfinder to frame and shoot your
subjects under low light conditions. If your camera
has an optional Low Light Viewfinder button (see
figure below), press this button to brighten the
display screen.
