Upgrade of Barcode-reading function

• [BCD (Barcode) MULTI READ] function is added in [IMAGE COMMENT] menu. If this function is selected, the characters will not be overwritten but added continuously at each barcode reading. In this case, the user comment already typed in will be erased.

5. Upgrade of [FUNCTION LOCK] function

The following four functions are added in [SELECTED FUNCTION] menu for [FUNCTION LOCK].

• NOISE REDUCTION
• MAINTENANCE
• DATE/TIME
• FILE TAG OPTIONS

6. The enlargement ratio for the LIVE VIEW DISPLAY is 4.5x.

7. The changes to WB in version 1.04 are as follows:

• Improved "Auto WB" accuracy when non-CPU lenses are mounted
• Manual WB setting: WB changed from "Auto WB" to "Manual WB fixed" when the flash is set to fire.

*Notes on upgrading the firmware

• If upgrading takes longer than 20 seconds, Power Save is activated and the LCD goes dark.
• The LCD then turns off when the firmware upgrade is completed, but this does not indicate that the camera has turned off.
• Always turn the camera off and then on again before using it.
