Experience Wide Dynamic Range

Dynamic Range for digital cameras is the expression domain between bright and dark areas, highlights and shadows. In photography, there are many subjects with great difference between brightness and darkness, such as bright sky against a dark building. Such variation is difficult to express without an extended Dynamic Range. A narrow range causes over-exposure or under-exposure. Wide Dynamic Range prevents over-exposure and under-exposure, regardless of whether the subject is a landscape or a portrait.

Progressions of beautiful colours are also meticulously reproduced with profound gradation. Just as your eye sees the full range of shadows to highlights in high-contrast scenes, Wide Dynamic Range Priority simultaneously captures two different images to produce a single image with Dynamic Range up to an astonishing 800%, a range not common on compact digital cameras!
