Microsoft Windows Vista Compatibility FAQ:

Question 1:
Can I connect a FUJIFILM digital camera to Windows Vista and use it?

Answer:
Yes, any FUJIFILM digital camera can be used under Windows Vista when connected via the USB or IEEE1394 port.
However, the IEEE1394 PC shooting function of the FinePix S2Pro and FinePix S3Pro cannot be used on Hyper-Utility HS-V2 software application. You can use the PC shooting function if you purchase Hyper Utility HS-V3 or HS-V3UP (an upgrade version from HS-V2). The release date for this software is March 2007.
You can use the PC camera function by installing the driver available on the CD-ROM supplied with your camera.

Question 2:
Can I use FinePix Viewer on Windows Vista?

Answer:
No, the current version of FinePix Viewer cannot be used. A Windows Vista-ready version will be provided via Web download. The release date has not yet been determined, but it will be shortly after the market release of Windows Vista.

Question 3:
Can I use Hyper-Utility HS-S2 and HS-V2 on Windows Vista?

Answer:
No, the current-version of Hyper-Utility HS-S2 and HS-V2 cannot be used.
FUJIFILM will not upgrade HS-S2 and HS-V2 for compatibility with Windows Vista.
However, you can purchase HS-V3 Upgrade Package (HS-V3UP) and use it to upgrade your HS-S2 or HS-V2 to HS-V3 equivalent, which can then be used on Windows Vista.

Question 4:
Will future FUJIFILM digital cameras have the Windows Vista logo?

Answer:
Yes, FUJIFILM is planning to obtain the Windows Vista Premium logo in addition to the current Windows XP logo for all the cameras to be released in 2007 and later except the FinePix S5Pro.

Answer:
