TOPIC: Photographs appear speckled (high noise/grain).?

Question:
TOPIC: Photographs appear speckled (high noise/grain).?

Answer:
Images shot at high sensitivity and/or at slow shutter speeds may have a grainy appearance. This grainy appearance is commonly referred to as "noise" and does not indicate a malfunction with your camera. To reduce the appearance of noise in your photographs we advise: Shoot at a lower sensitivity. Choose a shorter exposure time.
