TOPIC: Poor battery performance.

Question:
TOPIC: Poor battery performance.

Answer:
If your batteries are draining quickly, this is an indication that the batteries may be weak or of poor quality. Please note that the instruction manuals provided with FUJIFILM digital cameras recommend that only high quality alkaline batteries or high quality NiMH rechargeable batteries are used with those digital cameras which require AA type batteries. Best performance will be achieved using NiMH rechargeable rated at 2500mAh or greater (the higher the mAh rating, the better the batteries will perform). If the camera is equipped with a Lithium-Ion battery, the battery has an effective service life of approximately 300 charge-discharge cycles. The Lithium-Ion battery may have reached the end of the service life and the camera would require a new battery. If other types of batteries are used together with an AC adaptor, this may result in the rare occurrence of the battery overheating. Please do not use batteries other than those recommended in our instruction manuals.
