What is FUJIFILM's policy on dead/hot pixels in recorded images?

Question:
What is FUJIFILM's policy on dead/hot pixels in recorded images?

Answer:
Images shot in high-sensitivity photography and/or for long exposures may appear coarse and may also be affected by noise such as white dots. This is normal and does not indicate a manufacturing defect or camera fault. In some cases, we may be able to remove the problem pixel(s) by mapping.
